Abstract:
An evaluation of the general characteristics of the short term variability of the Total Ozone Content (TOC) over Bulgaria has been made in the article. The impact of the planetary wave activity of the stratosphere on the total ozone has been studied and the climatology of the oscillation amplitudes with periods of 4, 7, 11 and 25 days has been defined.

Keywords:
total ozone content, short term variability, trigonometric approximation, sliding time segment, planetary waves, climatology
